Help Us
Like any other not-for-profit organisation, we can only provide the assistance we do with help from you. If you can help us in any way, we encourage you to make contact with us. Helping people and communities is truly rewarding, and their appreciation of our help in times of disaster is felt by all. So, why not be part of something great?
Volunteer
We survive and provide the assistance we do because of the help given by volunteers. Their contribution is what allows us to deliver our unique helping hand in giving people and communities not just hope, but practical help in getting their lives, homes and properties back following disaster.
If you think you can be part of a team (yet still be independent), and love the idea of helping others, we'd love to hear from you.
We have different roles for people ti volunteer, and we encourage people from all walks and experiences of life. It does not matter how old you are, your sex, religion, or any other circumstance.
If we have an operation or base camp currently active in a disaster affected area, we can have you on-boarded the same day (we may need a day notice for larger groups). It's great to know too, that if we have a camp running, we should be able to offer you a space for your caravan or tent, provide facilities for showering and meals.
Most of our work occurs in regional and rural communities, so if you're a backpacker, we may be able to sign off on visa days to count towards your 88 days.

Donate
The help we provide to vulnerable people, who are often helpless, distraught, destitute and suffering following a disaster can only be provided with the help of generosity of people and businesses.
As a not-for-profit organisation, we don't operate to turn a profit. Our core focus is on helping people and communities, so we rely on donations to be able to keep doing what we do.
If you can help us to help others by making a financial donation, we'd be eternally grateful.
You can do so knowing that we're a registered not-for-profit with Consumer affairs in Victoria (No. A0122583U), under the Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012. We're regulated by strict laws and reporting requirements. So, you can be confident that we're a legitimate organisation providing essential assistance to people and communities alike.
We're also keen to receive donations of food for meals, supplies for our volunteers, fuel and grocery vouchers, tools, equipment, and other materials that help us deliver our help to people and communities.
Please make contact with us if you can help with a donation of any kind.
Become a Partner or Sponsor
We're always keen to have a chat with others about becoming a partner or sponsor of the work we do for people and communities.
If your organisation, business or community group can help us enhance what we do, get in touch to discuss how we might be able to work together.
Please email us and we'll be in contact within 24 hours.
