Backpackers
In doing recovery work to help people get their homes, properties and lives back, we work in declared disaster areas (fire and flood) which allow qualifying backpackers to volunteer and count towards the 88 days required to extend eligible visas.
Being part of volunteer team can see you travelling across Australia, making new friends, seeing Australia in a different way to the cities, learning new skills, and having fun.
Before you can start, we have to run a VEVO check to ensure you're an eligible person and hold the right visa.
We allow friends/partners to apply and come on board. In limited circumstances, we may also be able to assist with accommodation too (conditions apply).
Because we work alongside other recovery aid agencies, and with various construction organisations, we'll collaborate with them about work they may also have if we can't offer you a role right now.
If you're keen to either volunteer, let us know by completing the online form below. We'll be in touch shortly.
