Do You Need Some Help?
We're here for you. If you're in an area that has been affected by a recent disaster, you might be aware of our presence in the area.
We sometimes set up base camps to better manage the volume of Requests for Assistance. If you know we're in your area, please drop in and have a chat with the base camp Coordinator. If you're unsure if we're in your area right now, contact us directly, or complete the Request for Assistance form on this page.
We work with many other organisations, including other relief agencies, community groups and not-for-profit organisations, as well as councils, so they may also know of our imminent arrival, or be able to advise you. We also communicate with emergency services during times of disaster, so they're almost certain to know about our arrival.
Disaster Recovery Army provide a range of services to help affected people and communities in their time of need. Chances are that we can help you - if not, we're likely to know someone who can.
If you have Facebook, please make sure you follow us to keep up-to-date with our help, services and arrival into your area.
Request for Assistance
If you require our attention and help, registering a Request for Assistance is easy, and takes just a couple of minutes.
Simply complete the following form with as much information as possible and click "submit".
Please note, if you require assistance with a person/people or animals or livestock, please ensure you mention this on the registration so that we can prioritise your request.
If you are in immediate danger, please call 000 for assistance - we do not provide emergency services (police, fire or ambulance).
During times of disaster we may experience a surge of requests. We aim to work through all requests within 24 hours, within which time you will be contacted by a Disaster Recovery Army representative.
Please note: We can only provide assistance in areas where it has been safe to do so, and clearance authorisations have been provided by relevant authorities.
